A Lifetime on the Lanes:
Lori Gage’s Why I Certify Story
For Lori Gage, bowling isn’t just a sport — it’s a way of life. Certified since 1967, Lori grew up running service calls with her grandpa, sneaking in games while he worked. Soon, the family joined a youth league, and from that moment, Lori never left the lanes.
Her love for the game followed her through every stage of life. Her children grew up at the bowling center — sometimes even napping under the tables during league nights.
Though health challenges forced her to step away for a few years, Lori always kept her USBC membership card. Now, at 67, she’s back doing what she loves.
“It’s a slow go,” Lori says, “but it feels so good to be back.”
